My name is Monika, and I live in Dublin, where I work as a Hub Facilitator with AnCosán. Thanks to @ashling-johnston, I am proud to be a Digital Champion, and I’m thrilled to join this new group of colleagues!

I graduated from college in Poland but never worked directly in my field of study. Instead, I’ve gained diverse experience working in various roles, including hospitality, the tax office, a law office, and as a full-time mum. I’ve always had a strong drive to help others, which makes me especially excited to be part of Ashling’s team.

In my “free time,” I manage a busy household with my husband, kids, and our dog. I enjoy reading, listening to music, dancing, baking cakes, and cooking. When it comes to sports, I’m particularly passionate about athletics and love watching rugby.

My favorite holiday destinations are Greece and Spain, and my dream for the future is to retire somewhere sunny and warm. 😊

Nice to meet you all! My name is Nicole and I live in Cork city. I work as an educational officer for Age Action and I love my role. I feel I have a great balance of freedom, guidance and flexibility when developing educational content. I still feel very new to Ireland and I keep learning about the educational sector.
In my own time I work as a therapist online and I’m enrolled in a master in Trauma Studies at UCC.
The real hobby is …my dog! She is a beautiful mix of who knows how many breeds and it’s originally from Costa Rica. I love going on walks with her and as I work mainly from home she is my coworker and coach!
My favorite place for holidays must be Costa Rica, but I’m so looking forward to explore Sardinia next summer! I went there when I was 21 and I’d love to visit again and see if I’m still in love of the island!

My name is Ashling it is lovely to connect with you all here. I live in Co Dublin, Ireland, and am a passionate community educator and love working as a digital skills tutor with An Cosán working to help bridge the digital divide and ensure no one is left behind!

I returned to education as an adult some years ago, and the introduction to technology totally transformed my life and my family’s life for generations to come!

I have spent the last two year working on An Cosán’s Get Yourself Online e-Learning project and am delighted to be now part of the development of Irelands first digital literacy community of practice platform

Our aim is to support the FET (National Further Education and training) strategy and the Adult Literacy for Life 2030 (ALL) strategy.
We hope this space will support this strategy to achieve an increase of 30% of adults in Ireland with basic digital literacy skills by 2030 at the moment there are only 50% of Adults in Ireland with basic digital literacy skills. gov – ‘Adult Literacy for Life’ – a 10-year adult literacy strategy (www.gov.ie)Links to an external site.

I am soon to be a granny for the first time, so I will be enjoying lots of time cuddling my first grandson soon!

My favourite holiday destination is Arachon in southwestern France, beautiful place to visit 😊

My name is Anne Maree. I live in North West Clare and work for An Cosån, remotely, as the Project Manager of this Community of Practice! When I am not coordinating projects; I manage my own art/film projects and have recently made a new short film work, the first in 7 years which was great to do. My favourite holiday destination has to be pretty much anywhere in France so I can eat fromage and amazing pastries.
